Continuing 68 Years of Senior Prom Tradition
Providing tradition since 1958, members of the Port Jefferson community volunteer hours of service to fund, design and construct, the Port Jefferson Senior Prom held at Earl L Vandermeulen High School. The school is magnificently transformed, and each year reveals a new theme to provide a memorable experience for seniors, their families, and in our community.

📣 We Need Student Volunteers on 6/25!
Can your student spare a few hours? The PJHS Senior Prom is looking for helping hands to move materials and support our event setup. In return, we’re offering community service hours!
It’s a great opportunity to give back, support your school community, and earn hours toward graduation requirements. Every hour counts — and so does yours!

📣 Student Volunteers Needed for TEAR DOWN on 6/30!
On Tuesday, June 30 at 8:00 a.m., we need students to help remove all materials from the prom and restore the gym to its original state. Students will be asked to sign in upon arrival and hand in the attached waiver. Students will receive community service hours and/or $10 per hour for their time worked.
It’s a great opportunity to give back, support your school community, and earn hours toward graduation requirements. Every hour counts — and so does yours!
